Maria Grazia Marini
After graduating in Foreign Languages and Literature at Venice Univesity Ca' Foscari in 1986 and training experiences as event manager and PR executive, Maria Grazia Marini started working for the Municipality of Ravenna in the field of tourism promotion.
A few years after, she was given the responsability of culture management of public institutions.
Among the the most prestigious projects fulfilled, she would like to mention the coordination of the works for the candidacy of the Ravenna UNESCO site (1996) and the direction of the RavennaMosaico Biennale Festival.
She managed the applicance of Ravenna as European Capital of Smart Tourism for 2020 which allowed the city to enter within the shortlisted cities.
She has a deep aptitude for empathy, and she's volonteer as a Red Cross Nurse and First Aid trainer.

Dopo la laurea in Lingue e Letterature Straniere presso l'Università Ca 'Foscari di Venezia nel 1986, ed esperienze formative come dirigente nei settori PR e organizzazione eventi, Maria Grazia Marini ha iniziato a lavorare per il Comune di Ravenna nel campo della promozione turistica.
Qualche anno dopo le viene affidata la responsabilità della gestione delle politiche culturali.
Tra i progetti più prestigiosi realizzati ricorda il coordinamento dei lavori per la candidatura di Ravenna come luogo UNESCO, nel 1996, e la direzione del Festival RavennaMosaico Biennale .
Ha gestito la candidatura di Ravenna a Capitale Europea dello Smart Tourism 2020, contribuendo all’ingresso della città nella lista delle città selezionate.
Ha una profonda attitudine all'empatia ed è volontaria come infermiera della Croce Rossa, nonché istruttrice di primo soccorso.
