Claudio Paolucci

Claudio Paolucci is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Theory of Language at the Department of Philosophy and Communication of the University of Bologna, where he teaches Semiotics, Semiotics of audiovisual and musical languages, Philosophy of Language and Semiotics of Body and Perception.

  • Since 2014, he is the scientific coordinator of the School of Advanced Studies in the Humanities founded by Umberto Eco, who has been president of the School until his death in 2016.
  • Since 2012 he is the Secretary of Italian Society of Philosphy of Language. 
  • Since 2018, he is one of the two members of the Nominating Committee of the Charles Sanders Peirce Society.
  • Since 2019, he is the coordinator of the PhD program in Philosophy, Science, Cognition and Semiotics, where he is engaged in research into cognitive semiotics and philosophy of mind.
